Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, is considered a sacred period of fasting, reflection, and spiritual growth for Muslims.

According to a statement made available to AljazirahNigeria on Sunday, Dr Aliyu highlighted the significance of the celebration, adding that with love, unity and oneness, Nigeria would continue to thrive.

She urged Muslims to uphold the takeaways of the Ramadan season and continue to spread love.

The Kogi Princess said, “As we come to the end of this blessed Ramadan, I specially wish the good people of Kogi State and the Muslim community across Nigeria a joyous Eid-el-Fitr. May Allah accept our fast, prayers, and good deeds.

“This holy month has provided us with a unique opportunity to reflect on our lives, seek forgiveness, and re-dedicate ourselves to the service of humanity. As we celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, let us not forget the lessons learned during Ramadan.

“I pray that this festive season brings us peace, unity, and prosperity. Let us continue to promote love, tolerance, and understanding among our diverse communities.

“Barka da Sallah, and may Allah bless Nigeria!”
