In a momentous and inspiring gathering of women leaders, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, CON, FNIPC, FCAI, FCIPD, EEO-NIPT, Former Minister of State for FCT, Abuja, Convener and Founder of the Remi Tinubu Support Organization (RETSO), delivered a powerful tribute to Nigeria’s First Lady, Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, describing her as “an epitome of dedication and selflessness.”
The commendation took place during the international conference of Women Politicians Without Borders, a forum that convened distinguished female politicians and advocates from across Africa and beyond to celebrate the impact of women in governance and political leadership.
In her address, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu emphasized the First Lady’s unwavering commitment to national service, empowerment of women and youth, and her compassionate approach to leadership.
“Senator Oluremi Tinubu exemplifies what it means to lead with compassion and conviction. Her life has been a continuous journey of service to humanity, marked by humility, strength, and visionary impact,” she stated.
Also delivering remarks at the event, Dr. Sekinatu Adebowale Riskuwa, Leader of Women Politicians Without Borders, offered heartfelt gratitude and commendation to the First Lady. She praised Senator Oluremi Tinubu’s transformative influence in championing inclusive policies and providing a voice to women across Nigeria and the continent.
“Her Excellency is a towering example of what it means to use influence for good. She has elevated the status of women, given voice to the voiceless, and continues to champion causes that affect millions. We are grateful for her presence, her purpose, and her powerful legacy,” Dr. Riskuwa declared.
Dr. Riskuwa also applauded Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu for her tireless dedication to creating spaces for women in politics, stating that such platforms are vital for shaping a more inclusive and equitable future.
