Commemorating the Endorsement of Senator Oluremi Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Initiative by Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, Garkuwan Daurama
According to TPL Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, Phd, CON, the Amazonian Founder and National Convener of Remi Tinubu Support Organization (RETSO), Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu CON OON, has been making waves with her Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), a program aimed at empowering families across the country. Through RHI, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has been working tirelessly to alleviate the struggles of families, especially during and post-crisis periods, by providing them with various forms of support. One of the key focus areas of RHI is economic empowerment, which is evident in the various initiatives undertaken by the program.
Sarauniyar Abuja equally said: “One such initiative is the RHI Economic Empowerment Programme, which provides grants to women petty traders across the country. Recently, the program disbursed N1.850 billion to 37,000 women petty traders, with each beneficiary receiving N50,000 to recapitalize and grow their businesses. This initiative is a testament to Senator Tinubu’s commitment to empowering women and promoting economic growth. By supporting women entrepreneurs, RHI is not only improving their livelihoods but also contributing to the country’s economic development.”
Continuing, the former State Minister for FCT, Abuja, Dr. Ramatu Aliyu says “in addition to economic empowerment, RHI has also been involved in various other initiatives, including agriculture, education, and healthcare. The program has supported women farmers through training and financial support, promoted education through scholarship schemes, and provided healthcare services to vulnerable communities. These initiatives demonstrate Senator Tinubu’s dedication to creating a better life for Nigerians, particularly women and children.”
As the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has been using her platform, with the support of relevant stakeholders to make a positive impact on the lives of Nigerians. Through RHI, she has shown that with determination and hard work, it is possible to create meaningful change. As RHI continues to grow and expand its reach, it is clear that Senator Oluremi Tinubu’s legacy as a champion of women’s empowerment and family development will endure for generations to come.
