The former SA to Kwara State Governor on Poverty Alleviation Kwara Central, Hon. Comrade Lukman Olukayode Ahmed has congratulated an Ilorin – based prominent legal practitioner, Prof. Yusuf Olaolu Ali SAN, on his turbaning as the first Kuliyah Ngeri of Ilorin honoured him today , Friday, April 11th, 2025 by the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Maimartaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Zulkarnaini Gambari CFR.
Hon. Comrade Ahmed described the appointment of the senior lawyer as “well-deserved honour for an indefatigable Icon of community development, consummate legal luminary and a passionate philanthropist”.
“Prof. Yusuf Olaolu Ali SAN as a philanthropist, indicating that he is known for his selfless service to humanity and charitable efforts and generosity, particularly for the youth, widows and vulnerable people in Ilorin Emirates and the nation”.
“Prof. Yusuf Olaolu Ali SAN is a mentor and a distinguished personality that his life has been a model to all, adding that his turbaning as the first holder of the prestigious tittle of Kuliyah would surely spur him to do more for the Ilorin Emirates and humanity at large “.
“I appealed to the new Kuliyah Ngeri to continue his philosophic efforts and good deeds, suggesting that his contributions have made a positive impacts on the people of Ilorin Emirates and Kwara State at large”.
“I thank the Emir of Ilorin, Maimartaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Zulkarnaini Gambari CFR for always asserting unity and exerting leadership not just on his words but also in his actions before and since he ascended the throne of his illustrious forefathers”.
“I prayed that Almighty Allah guides the new Kuliyah Ngeri, Prof. Yusuf Olaolu Ali SAN in his new role, seeking divine guidance and wisdom as he takes this significant responsibility”.
