I hereby articulate my profound felicitations to Christians across the State, Country and the world at large, as they commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ on this day, being Easter Sunday, following His demise by crucification on a gibbet calvary, on a day called Good Friday (The day that commemorates Jesus’s death).
Indeed,Easter is the felicitation of God’s covenant fulfilled and the triumph of life over death and the grave.
While longing the adherents of Christiandom a peaceful and suspicious Easter Celebration,I entreat them all to sight this significant milestone as an opportunity to vest along with their improved spirit of forgiveness to not only their fellow Christian counterparts,but among other folks with deviating faith,irrespective of the practicable magnitude of the sin they may commit,as exemplified by Jesus Christ in His sacrificial death attempt by crucification for the sins of mankind.
I also urge the honourable people in Christianity, especially those in the State,Kogi to live out of values of love and clemency in their daily interactions,as inspires by Jesus’s example while on earth.
I can’t hesitate to let them know that, through faith in Christ, liberation and new direction is eternally feasible,despite their challenges and adversities,while requesting them to use this historic occasion to amass in prayer with the Lord, for the sustenance of the presently existing calmness,love, oneness and progressive growth enjoying by the Citizens of the State under the watch of my Beloved Husband ,His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo,the Executive Governor Of Kogi State,in the areas of Agriculture, Rehabilitation/Road Construction across the nooks and crannies of the State,Human Capital Development,Prompt Payment of Salaries,as seen in His swiftly given order to the State’s Accountant General Office, for the early payment of April salaries to the Civil Servants in the spirit of Easter Celebration,among other areas of His achievements,cannot be over emphasized.
Wishing them all once again,a joyous Easter merrymaking .
